That may well be, though unwittingly. :) Actually there very similar Miniatures for Space Hulk which were my originnal inspiration. But those have pretty sure also been influenced by star wars back then.

I loved that era of GW, Space Hulk, Space Crusaade and Advanced Space Crusade were great. I am pretty sure if they repackaged those games with new models they would sell like crazy and introduce a whole new generation to the hobby.

No they have basically disowned the Genestealer cults. Not to the degree they did the poor squats. But now all there are I think are just stealers
