What drew me to the image though is how it kinda contradicts what I think of as low fantasy (not much magic use / set in the real world)
The Torso is far from perfect but Iīm glad the colors balance that out.
I just read the english low fantasy article on wikipedia (not much magic use / set in the real world) and it contradicts the german one where basically low fantasy and high fantasy are defined as Conan vs Lord of the Rings(A less meticulously described world/more ambivalent heroes/pulp magazine tradition).
So either the terms really have a different meaning in english and german or one of the articles is simply wrong.
Hm, so thatīs what happens if one relies too much on wikipedia...
I tend to look at geeky sites and discussions for that, but some of their info probably comes from wikipedia too XD And usually it's hard for people to agree on one. There are so many types of fantasy it's crazy!
