More of a historical pinup than a mythology pinup this time. :)
Queen Boudicca of the Iceni tribe.
Please forgive all the historical incorectness. I donīt even know if the celts knew any kind of brushes or the Iceni used body paint...

Historically Boudicca was actually very unpleasant to look at apparently

It's more than likely she adopted traditional Celtic female body armour: which you portray here rather well. LOL. Lots of her story has been lost to history. Could have been in raided lamellar armour for all we know.

Well, assuming she wore any kind of undergarment (which she probably didnt) the sides would have been alot wider, not stringy. Still for a pin up point of view it looks great.

In regards to brushes, while most Celt tribes did not use them, some did, and after the Roman occupation of the British isle, brushes started being used more, but mostly in the southern areas.

As for body paint, traditionally many Celt clans used war paint and some did even use full body paint. Being that she was a queen, its not far fetched for her to have been covered in some form of body paint.

Overall I think you did quite well with her.

What movie was it were one character goes, "My ancestors had culture, while yours were still living in caves and painting themselves blue!"?

A very beautiful and lively bodypainting. Queen Boudicea would have had a lot of fun with it.

Nice design and a very beautiful coloring pattern mixes well with the figure. The shading is simply great. I love this picture. Look up mythological characters from cultures like India or Japan, maybe even Hawaii. That would be nice, right people?

Oh don't worry. The Iceni did use body paint, but I'm pretty sure they used their fingers to paint it on. Also, I imagine if you walked in on Boudicca naked, you'd have seven seconds to gather your wits before she stabbed you in the heart.
