Torbjorn

I was lucky enough to be commissioned by DeviantArt for Blizzard, to contribute to the 21 days of Overwatch.
Having to draw the last deviation to be revealed and seeing all the great artists to be involved was definitely was a bit daunting.

I got to illustrate Torbjörn, who is  more defensive weaponsmith character, building up lines of turrets to aid his team. From his role in the game he´s probably not the type of character I´d choose first when playing, but I liked his look from the outset. I mean, he´s a badass looking space dwarf with robotic claw and a flame-spewing forge on his back, what´s not to like?.  I thought portraying him in the midst of a raging battle, manning the barricades would fit his character well and I really had fun doing that.
